4ward sports offer various sports opportunities for the foundation stage, Keys stages 1 and 2 through to high school. We can offer programs before, during and after school.
4ward sports can provide PPA Cover or PE support during school hours, our schemes cover all aspects of the PE curriculum and include invasion games, striking, fielding, health and fitness sessions and some more of the unusual activities.
PPA and PE support are just part of a wider range of services that we offer. We liaise with schools to implement a choice of after school clubs for all ages. A big selection of sports and activities are on offer including football, Karate, Zumba, cricket, dodge-ball, Tri- golf, tennis, hockey, ultimate frisbee, basketball, soft archery and many more.
We are excited to begin our mentoring schemes, and very keen to expand this service to more schools throughout East Anglia and beyond. 4ward sports feel very passionate about all that sport has to offer, not just the obvious physical benefits but the social, confidence, and self-esteem issues that can be addressed.
Our small team enables us to run smoothly, but more importantly, allows our coaches to develop a good working relationship with the students. In the feedback we have received from schools we currently work with, the most important part of our coaching service is the consistency of the coaches.
What we cover:
Curriculum time lessons make up a bulk of our work in schools throughout term time. We support the schools with sports of there choice to run along side the nation curriculum or preparation for an up coming cluster competition.
At the end of term we will send the school with a write up of each session explaining what the class worked on, technical and coaching points and any addition information we may fill is important to share.
Before, during and after school clubs:
These can be funded by the school or a no hassle parent funded club. We cover a wide range of sports, the most popular are Multi-sports, football and dodgeball.
We run a range of holiday clubs
Football club: A day of football coaching and competitions
Football adventure: a half a day of football coaching and competitions and the other half includes tag archery, nerf wars, bubble football and dodge ball.
Multi-sports: sports & activities such as Nerf wars, bouncy castle, tag archery, bubble football, soft archery, ultimate frisbee, tai-golf and lots more.
Football skill school:
The football skill challenges run along existing 4ward sports coaching programs. As usual each coaching session has a topic, however each session will allow approximately 15 minutes to practice the challenges.
Sports leaders can be selected or apply to the school council for the position. The selected students are given a book by 4ward sports listing attributes and skills they will learn, session plan template, coaching advice and much more. A 4ward sports coach will mentor the children, when students are ready they will run their own clubs with the occasional visit from a 4ward sports coach to offer feedback.
